Natural Patterns

Carmi's Thematic Photographic 312 is Patterns. Here are a couple from my recent visit to Scioto Audubon Metro Park:

That's a Horace's Duskywing

More critters:

I used to be a Harvestboy. Now I'm a Harvestman!

Jeremiah was a bullfrog:

I'm chuckling at your fun comments! Great captures too, especially cool Mr. Bull Froggie and you knew you'd force me to put Three Dod Night's Jeremiah on youtube right now!

Don't forget to put your link on Carmi's blog, I didn't see yours this morning. Unless it's there now! Check it out- Mr Froggie wants to be seen!

Why does it not surprise me that you went for natural pictures? the spider's not so great (just because I don't like spiders, not the shot) but I really like the frog.

Natural patterns are fun to find -- and a bonus for getting the frog!

I was walking on a bridge over one of the ponds when I heard a frog jump. I then saw his head poking out of the water, but he was watching me and swam away.

So the next time one jumped, I started moving really slowly to see if I could get a picture of him watching me. And it worked!
